We have spent the last few days slowly working our way around the hundreds of stands that make up the Home and Gift trade show in Harrogate. I always think the trade shows are a little like prospecting – you have to sift through a lot of sand and grit before you find gold.

This time, as well as seeing all the exciting new things our existing suppliers have, we picked up a couple of really exciting new suppliers, including Martine Wester jewellery. We should be getting our first delivery of Martine Wester in early September, and we can’t wait. Already this month Martine Wester has been mentioned in the style guides of New! and Grazia magazines, and has been worn by such disparate musical talents as Sarah Harding and Florence Welch.
