All of our jewellery is cadmium, lead and nickel free. Most of it is either gold or silver plated brass or stainless steel, but please see individual listings for full material info.

To get the most out of your jewellery, it is best to keep it stored in a cool, dark place when it's not being worn and to keep contact with water to a minimum. It's really important to avoid contact with perfume and skincare products, as this can significantly shorten the life of the plating and lead to tarnishing.

If your jewellery does begin to tarnish, it can be cleaned in warm soapy water - be sure to use a mild soap and dry it thoroughly afterwards.

The best way to look after your plated jewellery is to remember the golden rule - make the last thing you put on and the first thing you take off.
